A Legacy of Faith: Welcome to the Evangelistic Pentecostal Church
The Evangelistic Pentecostal Church (EPC) is more than just a place of worship; it’s my spiritual home and a cornerstone of our community in Nassau, Bahamas. Founded in 1974 by my late father, Bishop Stanley M. Seymour, and our family, the EPC has always been dedicated to serving the spiritual and physical needs of our neighbors. We began humbly, in a small building on Palm Beach Street, but the church has grown steadily over the years, reflecting our unwavering commitment to faith and service.

A Calling Answered: My Journey of Faith
Faith has been a central part of my life since childhood. My grandmother, Marion Franks, and my mother, Agatha Seymour, instilled in me a deep love for the scriptures. This passion led me to begin teaching Sunday School at the EPC when I was only 15 years old. My students, the preteens and primary aged children, appreciated my simple and direct approach to teaching God’s word. Witnessing their enthusiasm for learning further solidified my calling to serve the church.
We’ve witnessed more than 350 testimonies and answered prayers, showing God’s hand at work in our ministry.
With over 350 gatherings, services, and events, our church remains a vibrant center for worship and connection.
Through outreach, worship, and service, we’ve impacted more than 350 lives across The Bahamas and beyond.

A Turning Point and A Look Forward
The early 1990s were a time of significant growth for the EPC. We officially became incorporated in the Bahamas, solidifying our place within the community and opening doors for further expansion. During this period, I was entrusted with the role of Vice President of the Evangelistic Pentecostal Churches in the Bahamas. It was an honor to serve in this capacity and contribute to the wider Pentecostal community.
